40 Weeks

Per our OB's change in due date way back at our first ultrasound, today is Baby T's due date.  However, based on my own ovulation charting, I have estimated April 15, 2012 as a more correct date.  Anyways, we're hoping Baby T decides to enter the world sometime this week.  He's fully cooked now!

Here's the bump...not much change with my weight gain remaining at 15lb.

Yes, we are at zero now.  Hadn't thought about negative numbers...

AND, our crib skirt and curtains arrived today.  Thank goodness we can complete the nursery tonight so it's ALL set before Baby T arrives.  I will post completed pics. once it's done!  I'm so happy with how it's coming together!!!

AND, I bought a too short curtain rod, will eventually change it out, but I had to see the curtains up!!!

Baby T closet is finally organized...

Can't wait to have nursery done, talk about cutting it close :-)

FULL TERM!

We've made it to 37 Weeks...I have to admit, this pregnancy has flown by.  AND, I'm not that huge and uncomfortable.  I am literally ALL baby belly.  No complaints of swelling.  Just starting to have a super sore tailbone and some lovely contractions here and there, nothing to get excited over.

Here are our nursery prints hung, the hubs even got some nesting in this weekend!  The crib will eventually go back on this wall, but for not we opted to leave the most room for our changing table and soon to be arriving rocking chair, hence how the prints aren't actually centered over the dresser.

We are so blessed to have had the support and outpouring of gifts from our family, friends, and co-workers.  John and I each have amazing co-workers who have had showers for each of us.  Words can't describe the appreciation we have for the help we've received.  We have everything we need for Baby T's arrival (and then some :-).   Baby T is a VERY lucky little man!

Nursery & 36 Week Appointment!

Appointment went well.  We are measuring right on.  Weight gain thus far is 13lb.  I am about 50% thinned with NO softening or dilation.  Next appointment in a week!

I have FINALLY framed the prints we purchased to place above Baby T's crib.  Hoping John hangs them this weekend!  Bedding and curtains are due to arrive the weak before Baby T...way to close to call if we'll have them by the time he arrives :-)

34 Weeks...

The week of breastfeeding class, and just an overall SUPER busy week.  To be followed by a WONDERFUL weekend of friends and family in town for the showering of Baby T :-)  Looking forward to it!

The fabric we chose for our nursery rocker!  It's a shade of grey, we LOVED it!!!

Ikea Run

So we've ventured around and made some decisions regarding a rocking chair.  Who knew it would be this hard to decide on one!  Will post a pic. once we have it, but it appears we'll be rocking in a small La-z-Boy rocker/recliner in a grey color.  We have to have it ordered, so it *hopefully* will arrive before Baby T does!

A weekend Potomac Mills and Ikea trip was made.  Baby T is the proud new owner of some clothes and shoes, thanks to 40% off the entire Gap and Old Navy stores.

At Ikea we scored a side table so we have somewhere to put our lamp.  It's from the same line as the dresser we purchased.  

32 weeks

Nursery progress sneak peak....

...so, I am nesting and John is out of town 'Daddy-mooning' with his buds.  I got the itch to put up Baby T's crib.  Yes, it was harder than anticipated crawling around, up and down off the floor with a belly. But, overall an easy install.

Here it is!  Don't worry...crib skirt is ordered, just not here yet.  Curtains too. The yellow fabric draped over end is the changing table cover, same fabric as crib skirt will be!

AND, after MUCH research and bargaining, we settled on a stroller.  The Valco Baby Tri-Mode in raven.  SUPER reviews, can be used for jogging, in the park, in the mall.  I'm happy to say it's ordered and I was able to get $102 off from talking to an online representative through pishposhbaby.com!   Free shipping and no sales tax are added bonuses.

AND, learned how to put up our playyard.  Yes, it was difficult.

...let the nesting begin...

Yes, I am officially in 'nesting mode'.  Ali and I made a trip to Ikea today and were able to get a dresser, frames, frame ledges, bookends, drawer organizers, and a toy basket.  It feels good to have some items in the nursery category here :-)

So, now that third trimester has arrived we are getting down and dirty on nursery planning...this little guy will play into our color scheme.
