Busy Weekend

We're finally able to have a weekend to catch up on all thing home. We moved into our new house a month ago and between a lousy work schedule, a needy 5-month old and vacation we've not had time to make this place ours.

Blake's nursery is ALMOST finally the way I want it. We have things on walls now! I spent all day Saturday making mass quantities of baby food...Blake can eat squash, carrots, parsnips, and sweet potatoes to his hearts content. I had no idea how much to start with and may have gone a bit overboard. Grandpa Nichols stopped by to visit and play with Blake for most of the day. We were lucky that he was here when I clogged the sink with carrot peels!

Too much produce for baby food making...work in progress: new knobs on cabinets this weekend!

I'm also installing our diaper sprayer today. To say I'm excited is an understatement. I'm a cloth diapering dork.

We're heading to Lowe's when Blake wakes from his nap to order our new dishwasher (the one here is junk) and to buy the rest of our kitchen handles. Will post photos of kitchen once all done. Adding handles and knobs has made a big difference!
